Information, Support, and Healing

Elizabeth R. Goeke

Emotional, practical, spiritual support from SNAP .

I am a professional counselor who is on my own journey of healing from my abuse as a young nun by the confessor assigned to our convent. I have found that the path to healing from the betrayal by faith, priest and church to be twisted, confusing and lonely.

At SNAP we do not counsel directly.  We walk with you through the process.

I am available to discuss questions or problems associated with ongoing therapy or those in choosing a therapist.  I am able to give a "second opinion" to the issues which are bothering you. A second opinion from "one who has been there".

My special commitment is to those survivors who find themselves burdened, depressed, agitated and perhaps suicidal as they struggle through the process. If you are in such a fragile place please check the national SNAP website for help or call or email SNAP Oregon.

Elizabeth is a professional counselor.  She experienced abuse from a priest when she was a young nun in her twenties.

She is available to listen and offer support to any survivor of abuse seeking a confidant.
